Default Heater core issues - Need Help!!

'12 Durango crew, 3.6L, 2wd

Heat is not working. Code was reading bad thermostat so we replaced it and no dice. Want to do a flush of the heater core.. But we cannot locate the hoses to save our lives. Where are they?? I know they are connected to the firewall but where exactly? I get the feeling we are going to have to remove so many parts just to get to it. Any help is much appreciated!

I haven't checked for the heater hose locations so I won't be of much help there, but would you mind describing the "heat is not working" symptom a bit better? Maybe the issue is not likely to be the heater core but rather something like a blend door that is not working, etc. Do you get plenty of air flow it's just not hot? Is the engine coolant temperature gauge stable and reading that the engine is up to temperature? Does your Durango have rear HVAC controls and if so, does the rear heat work properly?

It is blowing cold air. The rear is also blowing cold. Seems to be plenty of air flow though. The temperature gauge is reading normal operating temps. I'm at a loss.
