Default Alternator and PCM

Alternator went out in August, purchased one replaced it and then found out there was a recall. Dealership changed it out at no cost, but did not fix my issue. After taking it back to same dealership, it was the PCM, which from what I read is a direct reflection of the alternator going out. then the power steering went out at the same time, which also could be a diret reflection of the PCM going. After sending in all documentation and looking for some resolution and reimbursement for these costs since August, I never heard anything from anybody directly, just the email with a case number and someone will reach out in 60 days. Called today 12/5 to follow up and the nice lady told me since the dealership did not tell me that the PCM went bad due to the alternator failure, it was not covered. So all they are looking into now is reimbursement of the first alternator I purchased and changed myself. Please help with any feedback that will help me receive some reimbursement.
