Default USB Charging Ports not working

The charging ports in my 2017 Durango have not worked consistently since purchase (brand new). Dealer says no “codes” so nothing is wrong. I’ve seen other posts saying loose connection is likely, but what do I do when dealer basically tells me I’m crazy and nothing’s wrong? Suggestions?

Define not consistently. Key on? Key off? Engine running?

Key on, engine running. I can occasionally get it to work, but I have to unplug and replug several times and once it catches, don’t dare touch it. I’ve tried multiple devices, multiple cords, have no problems with these phones or cords charging anywhere but the truck.

Do the USB cords fit snugly in the USB charging ports of your Durango? Have you tried slowly applying a bit of pressure to the different edges or the cord at the USB plug to see if there's one particular side that either causes connection to be made or lost reliably? Any of this information will help the troubleshooting process.
