Hi,

Sorry if this is already in another thread but I couldn't seem to find one. My 2014 Dodge Durango that I've owned since it was brand new just had the radio go out. The 8.4 Uconnect screen will only display the black and red Dodge screen that you get when it is first booting up when you turn on the car. It will not play any music but you can still use the climate control ***** to control the heater and A/C. I took it to the dealer and paid $150 for a diagnostic and all they are saying is the the radio has "an internal issue" and needs to be replaced. A new one would cost $2,200 or a refurbished one would cost $950. I have a few questions:
1. Has anyone else had experience with this?
2. Is there anyway of fixing this without replacing the system?
3. Does anyone know of any better aftermarket options for replacing it without going with a smaller screen?
