There is way too much bass.

The Bass, Midrange, and Treble are adjustable. I'm quite pleased with the way the Alpine system sounds.

I agree... although it's most noticeable on XM radio. Sounds better from my ipod.

Obviously I did that. Lol. I do audio mixing and mastering and the vehicle system is always the last test. With the bass even at the lowest setting it’s still too hyped and difficult to use as a reference of levels. Hard to believe that actual audio specialists put this system out this way.

I'm not talking about how good it does or does not sound. I'm referring to a mathematical balance (or imbalance in this case) of frequencies. As a person that actually makes music, you want to actually hear every single instrument you put into a song, not just what's in the low end.
