Acceleration

I own a 2016 Dodge Durango SXT and it will not rev more than 3,000 RPM in Park, any thoughts???

I believe that may be a rev limiter....safety feature

yea, thats by design, different rev limiter in park than in gear and pretty low in park since there should be no reason for the engine to rev that high if your not moving.

To protect the engine from people who like to rev their engines in park for no reason....has nothing to do with acceleration. .
