2011 Dodge Durango express 3.6l at idle in park with heat off,and just going by temp gauge on dash(the led temp that's from vehicle information) ,the temps slowly creep up to 228 and then fan goes on for about 15 seconds then shuts off and temps lower to 213 then start to creep back up to 228 ,fan goes on and temp goes to 213,BUT when I put the heat on full the temp lower to 203 or a little less and then only rise to maybe 210,and the fan comes on and more often and for longer period of time ,ALSO for some reason the a/c compressor keeps engaging off and on when I put heat on. I started checking the temps out because one day after work when I got home and was sitting in my driveway the lower radiator hose blew off I replaced clamp and everything seems to be ok . QUESTION are these temps normal and putting my heat on gonna make fan come on?
