Post AWD FCW warning on citadel

I have a 2012 Citadel. recently while on the road when we tried to turn on the cruise control we got a bell and both warning AWD, and FCW light started alternating. When I ran a poll on OBD reader we got U0114-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH FINAL DRIVE CONTROL MODULE.
first is this a separate module from the transfer case controller> I thought it must be either the TCCM or the srep motor on the transfer case. I need some wisdom from the forum before I go to the dealer and a couple of weeks wait, or purchase either the TCCM or transfer case stepper motor,

This control module must be a ‘12 thing. Just had my ‘12 RT at dealer for DTCM. The truck would operate in low range 4wd mode at low speeds. When turning it felt like I was dragging the wheels. In reverse the truck barely wanted to move. Looks like you caught yours early on. Only thing I had previously was my low range light would flash on. Had DTCM replaced and everything is back to normal. Fingers crossed.

Default Dtcm

We had the control module changed. Has been working fine since. We also did a 4x4 fluid service too.
