Noise From Front End
I’m having some noise coming from the front end of my 2013 Dodge Durango Crew AWD. Sounds like it is coming from the passenger side. The noise sounds like a clicking or almost like something metal dragging across a textured metal. It has a circular pattern to it (if that makes sense, speeds up as the car speed increases). I can only hear the noise when the wheels are straight and the noise can’t be heard when I’m pushing the brakes.
A little back story. About a week ago I noticed some really loud grinding in the front end when pushing the brakes. I changed the front rotors (they were not heavily warped but definitely time to replace) and all brake pads. That grinding noice stopped and everything was great for a week.
I can’t visibly see anything going on. I’ve tried getting under it and inspecting the CV joint but it doesn’t seem to have any play in it. Any idea what this could possibly be or what I should check next?
