Default 2020 Durango R/T

I’m in the market now for a new 2020 R/T.
Any horror stories with them, down shifting? Anything?

I love my 2015RT. I think the short answer is that they aren't perfect but they are pretty darn good. Mine had the weird downshift issue and a re-flash fixed it. Just under 100000 miles and I've had no significant problems. It's a 9 year old platform with a few updates. It was an amazing vehicle on 2011 and it's just gotten incrementally better. There will probably be some major interior updates in 2021. If you wait a few months you can probably get a larger uconnect system more like the Ram has. Or, they will be making smoking hot deals trying to get the old inventory off the lots.

If you expect to tow, make sure to get the factory tow package with trailer brake controller built in.

I'm kind of thinking the next one will be an SRT and meanwhile really wishing I could justify spending a few extra bucks on a custom exhaust.

As mentioned by wi-steve, the 2021's will see some meaningful updates. Waiting to pull the trigger until I can see these updates in person.

Wife has a 2019 rt (black w red leather) - zero issues at 45K miles. Most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned…
