I have a 2017 Durango GT and the hatch latch will not open the hatch. The hatch is not a push button automatic hatch. All the other locks on the car work great. The fob has a new battery and the doors lock and unlock fine when you grab the handles. Not sure what you call that system. Proximity ?
I have taken the cover panel off on the inside and can open the hatch by turning the mechanism with my hand. Is there a way to reset the lock system ? Would that help ?
