Default New member, gonna lift it.

So far this forum has been there most enlightening of the ones I've checked out. Thanks for that.
I'm Wayne. Nice to meet you all.
I recently purchased a 13 Durango crew, with 150k for $9500.
I've decided that I have to lift it, and I have to put wider, taller tires on.
I've read all things lift related on this site, and despite all the RRO talk I'm gonna try and use this.

Wish me luck.

The truck.

The kit.

Seems substantial.

Finally found some time to work on this lift.

Sorry I didn't get more pictures if things as they went, but I was solo, and it rained most of the day.
Anyway 2.5"installed in the front. The rear will be another day.

Got the rear 1.5" lift installed now. I love it.

1 piece of advice I'd give to any one installing this style lift, on their own, on a vehicle that's less than brand new. .
Buy 4 new stabilizer end links before starting!

This was by far the most frustrating part of this install. They fought me coming off. They fought me going on. I wire wheeled them. I pb blasted them. I have 4 new ones on the way because a couple of them were so tough that I couldn't tell if they were tight, or just done going any further. If I could of cut them off, and replaced them I would of saved a ton of time, energy, and frustration.

Nice work! Looks like you know what you're doing. Thanks for sharing all of the pictures. Looking forward to seeing it with wheels and tires. What size are you going to go with?

I'm happy to contribute. This forum has been a pleasure to read.
Wheels, and tries are gonna be as aggressive as I thought I could get away with. 265/70r18 on +12 offset wheels.
Stock setup is 265/60r18 on +56 offset.

OK! HERE IT IS!

Lifted 2.5"front, 1.5" rear 265/70r18 +12 offset ultra armageddon wheels.
I got the tires at Walmart.com, the lift, wheels, and tpms sensors off eBay.
Because I had purchased the tires through Walmart I was able to have the service center mount, and balance the the tires, and sensors on the wheels for $48. (For all four)
Then I installed them at home. Walmart (like most major tire shops) won't install anything outside of oem on any vehicle.
Besides I knew I'd have some rubbing to take care of.
Here's some pics of a standing seam I needed to "modify", and relief cuts I made in the felt wheel well liner that helped it lay a little flatter.
