Default Auto headlight problem

I recently added a small powered sub to my 2011 Durango crew. Standard install... Disconnect the ground at the battery, wire everything up, test, button everything up.
now the auto headlights do not work.
Any suggestions?
A quick search, and people most often replace the sensor. My lights worked perfectly before disconnecting the battery, and do not work at all after reconnecting the battery.
There was a little light arching as I was sliding the ground back on, but nothing excessive or unusual IMO.
Thanks in advance

Just to confirm, did you make sure the headlight switch is set to Auto? Also, for clarification, it's just the auto headlights that don't work, correct? If you manually switch the headlights on they work? I'm picking on your comment of "...lights worked perfectly before...and do not work at all after...."

Have you checked the fuse for the auto headlights to make sure that is still good?

Sorry for the slow reply. It was just the auto function, where your headlights come on automatically when light gets low enough. They worked manually only.
However the following day everything worked fine, and I've had no problem since.
I don't know why. Perhaps there was some calibration period, or some readiness checks needed to cycle through in the ecm?
Anyone ever lose this function after clearing engine codes?
Anyway works mint now, and my stereo sounds great.
