Default Decel howl

2015 Citadel V6 AWD im getting a howling sound on deceleration / not braking, highway speeds and town speeds its fine as well as cruising and accelerating. 82000 miles, we've put about 30k miles on it. would the AWD diffs need served or something simple? not familiar with the AWD systems much, my experience is in pickups and bigger

any info appreciated

Pinion bearing. Time to visit a differential shop, although there's no hurry. I've heard of people driving for years with a howling bearing, just putting up with the noise. Naturally I don't recommend waiting years, just pointing out that this can be done when convenient, and doesn't require that you drop what you're doing to get it done.
