Default SRT vs. R/T

I have a 2013 Durango R/T that I have used as a daily driver and race car hauler for the past 6 years. It has been very reliable and does a very good job of towing my 5500 lb enclosed trailer rig.

I'm now looking to replace it, and after reviewing the other alternatives out there, I have concluded that the Durango is still the best vehicle for my needs - the question is now simply SRT or R/T.

The R/T tows well, but I'm thinking that the SRT would be even better. Anyone have any experience comparing these two? More is always better - right?

However, I don't want to sacrifice reliability, and if the SRT is prone to some motor or transmission problems, then I'll gladly stay with the R/T.

Thanks for any info.

Take a look at the R/T+ with the Tow -n- Go Package same towing rating of 8700lbs as the SRT
Only difference between the 2 (R/T+ vs SRT) is the engine. If you want more power like 115 HP more (475 vs 360) and 80 lbs/ft of torque (470 vs 390) than the SRT is for you.
Fuel Economy is slightly less at 14 MGP City (5.7L) vs 13 MPG City (6.4L) and 22 MPG Highway (5.7L) vs 19 MPG highway (6.4L)
