I have a 2012 R/T 5.7 that has been throwing P0300 and P0303 codes (random miss-fire and cylinder 3 miss-fire. Took it to the Dodge dealer for diagnosis. Rig struggles at 2K rpm. They are claiming the cam could be wiped, wont know until they tear it down. Estimated $4k - $8k for repair. Had the passenger head replaced just over two years ago under extended warranty replacement due to a broken exhaust manifold bolt. no longer covered under warranty.

- Are there recommendations out there for a better than OEM cam / lifter / rocker / spring replacement? Is there a higher performance kit or should I stick with stock replacement?
- Does anyone have a recommendation for verifying a wiped cam before tear down?
