Transmission keeps going to slip and grind mode .
Please need help…
I took my my dodge durango for transmission problems. They told me it needed a new one or rebuild. So I went ahead and got rebuild . And a week into it out it starts grinding. I take it back in they said because I put new tires wrong size it set my computer off to cause the problems of it grinding . Well weeks later starts grinding, slipping, delaying, and not shifting I took it to a dealer for proper diagnostic. They hand me a list of failures with transmission and a bill of close to 9k . So I took back to transmission mechanic and again computer rebooted and working fine . I started to feel slipping and slight grinding again . What is going on with my durango 2012 ? Please in need of your expertise help…

Need more information! What engine size, the vehicle total mileage, what tire size did you change to and what was actual rebuilt on the transmission.
Do you have any codes or messages on the drivers display screen, check engine light (blinking) any other lights on the dash?

I am assuming the converter was replaced . The transmission shop keeps telling me its the tires that are making the computer go back to slip mode but dealer told me that had nothing to do with it . I'm wondering if I have a bad censor or bad computer program .
From what I was reading the TCC can produce most of these DTC P07xx issues. It could be a bad TCM or a few sensors seems highly irregular with all the DTC you are getting. This would need to diagnosed be a qualified service shop with the FCA wiTECH or equivalent testing equipment. If you think it's the ABS you can test by disabling ABS if you have a tuner from Diablo or HP Tuners. The button on the dash doesn't actually fully disable the ABS. Sorry I could be much that help.
