2014 Dodge Citadel
The Hexagon shaped winshield connector is worn and the rearview mirror constantly falls off. The last time it swung and cracked my wifes winshield. I have looked everywhere for a new one and can't find it anywhere. Need help with part number and nomenclature.
Fortunately for me I've never had to try to source one of those. Have you checked with the dealer? Otherwise you may need to seek one out from a salvage yard, but I have no idea what it would take to remove one that's well-adhered to a windshield.
Assuming that you're getting the windshield replaced due to the crack, have you checked with the glass shop to see if they have a source for them, or if they have a method for removing the mount from an existing windshield?
