Default SERVICE AWD, ABS and Traction control off lights all came on

Recently had an issue where the alternator got so much resistance it started glowing, and would not charge the battery even after replacing the alternator. Took it in and they replaced the PCM because it had fried whatever tells the alternator to charge. All was well, it's been less than 2 weeks and now I had all three lights come on in my way to work. I've read around and most people chalk it up to a wheel speed sensor. Just curious if it could be related to my precious problem or if anyone has had similar issues. Not sure if this matters as well but it has been snowing.

I forgot to add that I replaced the battery when I replaced the alternator.

The best way to start tracking this down would be to find a scan tool that can access the ABS/Traction Control/AWD modules to determine what diagnostic codes are causing the warnings. Then follow the diagnostics for those codes. Assuming you don't have access to such a scan tool, then you should check the fuses for these modules to determine first whether or not they are all good, and then to confirm you have battery voltage on both sides (supply side and load side) of the fuses. If any of the fuses are blown, replace them and see if they blow again in short order. If they do, there's a chance they could be due to the over-voltage condition. That glowing alternator could have spit out noise and possibly over-voltage (depending on where the resistance issue was) which might have accelerated fatigue of filter capacitors or protection diodes in different modules.

Oddly when I got 2 blocks from work in the afternoon all lights went out, I could switch traction control on and off.

That sounds very similar to the issue I was having with my Charger recently. Not with the ABS, but with other systems in the car. In the case of my car the issue ended up being due to a failing relay that was not providing enough power to multiple modules for them to be able to communicate on the CAN bus. If you're wanting to compare notes, here's a post I made about my ordeal. It is a picture- and word- heavy. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-c...ure-heavy.html
