2015 Citadel Headlight Options
Hi All,
The wife just hit a deer in our 2015 Durango Citadel before the new year. The work is being covered under insurance, but the repair shop is having a hard time finding a headlight assembly. The Citadel has the HID headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights, which Dodge has discontinued. I've looked on ebay, but all of the pre-owned OEM's have broken tabs or scratched covers. It seems like this is an impossible part to find. Are there any replacement options or suppliers I am missing and should look at?
Thanks!

Did both headlights get damaged, or are they only trying to locate one? Worst case, it seems they may need to purchase a pair of similar matching headlights for a different model or year of Durango with similar headlight features, or possibly they'll need to go with projector beam assemblies and depart from the HID. I'm not sure what wiring differences there will be to switch from HID to projector, but I doubt the vehicle harness is drastically different so it should be nearly a plug and play modification. I would personally not have any reservations about switching to a projector beam assembly with LED bulbs from HID. I recently converted my Charger from HID to LED and prefer the look and light projection on the road over the original (but weak) HIDs.

Yeah, only the passenger side got damaged. I'm trying to figure out if newer model years will fit it, but I can't seem to find a good answer on it. Some places list headlight assemblies as 2014-2015 and 2016-2020 separate. Then other places list them as 2014-2020.
