neither of them are really good mufflers. Since you already have a cutout, I'd say go for a milder muffler like the at3030xl or a magnaflow.

Then again the flowmaster is cheaaper than the gibson. imo. Go with the ss flowmaster guranteed for ten years. Thats a good deal right there!

Pretty much everyone here is talking about the sound of their systems, which is to be expected.

Can we assume that there really isn't much gain in HP, TQ, and MPG? I've confirmed that if you go full cat back that you can get some significant gains but at about $1000 installed!

For the gains it sounds like a tuner would be money better spent if you didn't value the awesome sound of a dodge V8!

Are any of the magnaflows loud like a 40 series flowmaster? I just put on a magnaflow on a hemi with no resinators and it wasnt very loud. I called our exhaust distributor and they did not know what was the loudest SI/DO magnaflow was so i thought i might ask here. I want a magnaflow or at least one that has the straight through design but has a loud deep tone. Anybody have any suggestions.

Also how much louder would the exhaust get if i removed the cats?
