Superchips Questions and Updates
#2021
Sil or anyone else who knows,
I have a question for when the update comes out. I'm running the 91 tune right now. Since this is such a big update, will I need to return my truck to stock before I load the new stuff or can I just go straight from the 91 tune into the new one?
Thanks,
William

No. Your truck will have to be VIN locked (tuned) when you update to the trans options.

Just so everyone knows, we're winding down. Things are looking good, so it should be here soon. Thanks to all who've been patient. It's much appreciated and you will be rewarded with a great program.
When folks start loading these options up and it transforms their rigs, the great feedback that will be posted here will make me smile.

I tried to follow the thread but am exhausted from working on the truck, cleaning it, mowing the lawn, getting the oil chnaged, eating dinner, and reading through these posts for answers and more or less confused due to all the conversing/bickering going on. Has the question on whether or not the 03's will be able to benefit from the tranny upgrade tune??

There is a separate TCM on the '03s. I believe Dodge combined everything into the PCM for the '04+ years.

I am no longer a SC owner. I sold it to pay for the thing in my sig. I might come back again. Who knows. I didn't notice a difference once I returned to stock and everything feels pretty much the same. Never noticed a huge increase when installed. Maybe I just have a lazy motor or something.
