yeah I went to program vehicle and went thru all motions with key on/off until it finished then turned off ignition and unpluged tuner, thats when i went back in to check and it said stock

 

that could very well be cause i recently updated it and tried it right after, i guess the only way to know is put 5 bucks of reg. and listen for that pesky ping!

Sounds like you are having the same thing that other guys are having where it reads stock even though it is programmed. I updated my tuner but never uploaded it onto my truck bc of this exact problem.

 

Hello 4.7ers,

As we all know the 4.7 trans tune problem rages on, the SC 3815 doesnt tune some 4.7's. It was first reported to SC in Nov 08 and its still not resolved.
I have created a new thread on the flashpaq forum (link below). Please post all your issues and let SC know we need this fixed NOW !!

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the issue with the trans tune on the 4.7's supposed to be the first thing they were going to work on after the release of their Jeep tuner?

 

They worked on it for a little while before the Jeep release with no fixes and now nothing. I havent heard any new 4.7 news in weeks (but after waiting for 7 months whos counting).

 

you guys are in the same boat as us. no tranny control updates yet that were promised

 

looks like us hemi guys are going to have to keep on hearing excuses , hell if the 4.7 guys are 7 months back and they were in front of us ....good luck glad mine was sent back

 

So I asked this before and got a jaskass type reply that I should go back and read the whole 40 odd pages to find it, but exactly what updates are you waiting for for the 5.7's?

Is it just for the older models(pre06) that you are looking for the 1-2 and 2-3 shift functions like the 06+ have? or is it something more than that.
