Let's get this thread back on topic now that we have all come to the realization that the 3815 isn't going to support the new features and that isn't going to change.
What years are these new trans features going to work on? Is it going to be across the board coverage for all years and engines or are there going to be some years/engines that are going to be left out of the new feature coverage?

yeah im interested in the years as well. As an 03 owner I typically get shafted on the ecu programming stuff because it was the first year of the Hemi and they changed it up for 04, so it isnt economical to make a bunch of changes for one year
Champion
yeah. DONT! you shouldnt even be runnin 87 octane in the hemi stock (89 is strongly recommended) let alone with a performance tune! minimum octane is whatever the tune says (89 tune run at least 89, 91 run at least 91, etc)

seriously though, everyone here is in agreement that you should not pump 87 with a 91 tune. 87 with the 87 tune is just fine, and I used to use 87 with the stock tune as well (89 strongly recommended). but 87 with the 91 tune and you're asking for it.

SC has said offered me a chance to be a beta tester for the new stuff, so it will at least cover the 04s (something DSP can't do).Originally Posted by Off_Road_Teacher

After I posted that question last night I heard that they are going to start by releasing the features for 07-08 and then work backward till they get to the 04's. Sounds like the 03's are going to be left out.Originally Posted by xfeejayx

So i'm interested in the SC. I have an 02 with the 4.7 motor. What all can the SC do for my truck? A preformance increase would be nice and so would a MPG increase. Will it have any negitive effects on the truck?
