i just got my mcgaughys 2/4.5 kit in today, shouldnt it come with shackles for the rear? the end of the box was damaged and im just trying to make sure i have or havent lost anything. Also do you need a cnotch when when you lower the rear this low and pull a trailer?

McGaughy's makes some of the best suspension parts out there. They are fairly inexpensive compared to some of the other kits. My 2/4.5" drop came with the coils for the front, but i am debating on putting the stock coils back in and putting the 2" drop spindles on instead.

with the groundforce kit, how does that work on installation? because it seems to me that you would need to change the leaf springs out also, and not just the rear shocks.

I have the McGaughys 2/4.5" with coil springs up front. I am riding on the front bump stops. To the people that have the same kit, did you cut the bump stops and install shorter ones? Or did you just not install bump stops after cutting them, or just left them alone?

I have a 95 Ram 1500 short box 2wd. was lowered when I got it.. Front is too low, lower a-arms scrape on real rough surfaces or driveways. Rear sets fine. looks like it was just a rear end swap from bottom of the springs to the top side, dropping it (what? 6 inches?)
Someone help Please!!!
What do I do. I want to level it out.
Thanks
Jeff
