I am here HammerZ71 is knowledgeable in LT headers! Maybe he will chime in on this thread! He was supposed to get home today so he should be online anytime! He has some headers that worked out well!

XfeejayX, It snowed 6" in Denver last night! lol

You won't be able to get longtubes for your 4.7. But I think the JBA is a good choice.

We need a chat room, that way me and my posse could have a group discussion! I wonder if I have the power to set one up? If not, I'll bet I can pull the right strings and get it done... What y'all think.

Oh, yeah and about the headers. Don't waste your time on anything other than LT's, unless you are in an inspection state. Dynatechs show the best gains. I've got the Pacesetters, very economical but upper thirds performance. I opted for stainless and had a local shop do a custom ceramic coat. Much better than even the most expensive headers...

the longer the tubes, the better the scavenging. Do mids if you can get 'em. I've not seen good enough gains on the Hemi with shorty's to justify the cost IMO. What $400 minimum and if you can't install yourself, at least $300 for that. So $700 minimum out of pocket for what, 10 HP of which about 6 makes it to the real wheels. F*ck, spend $250 on an efan and get about 18 HP to the rear wheels.

But that's the Hemi, I don't know exact numbers on a 4.7...

By the way, there is a default chat room we can sign into or I can create one. It appears nobody has used the default one since the new software upgrade, so I'm thinking we need to set a day of the week and time, and we can all meet up in a chat room... Beats the pi$$ out of PM'ng back and forth. You guys have no idea how many questions I get PM'd with in a given week. Usually hit my 50 PM limit every other day. A$$holes too embarrased to ask questions in the open forum, and I don't know where y'all got the impression I'm some kinda guru. I ain't worked a day as a paid mechanic in my life...
