Nick, my truck randomly stalled earlier when I was driving kinds slow. Luckily it was like midnight and no one was out, but yeah...

I was reading up on it and I'm really hoping it has something to do with that EGR problem I got coded for. I saw in a thread about stalling that someone mentioned that was a could-be cause for someone's truck stalling. That was the only time it had done it all day. I swear this truck better not have some problems that were hidden from me lol. I will end lives. I don't think it does though...or rather, I hope it doesn't and those 2 are related...It's a really nice truck


BTW, who made your sig for u?

 

yea man most likely its the egr valve. might wanna just clean the throttle body too, that will help.

Yeah maybe I will wake up at a decent hour and I can look for a DIY for the throttle body thing. When I get to that EGR, is there anything that would let me know if it's bad and needs to be replaced, or do I just clean it, reset the CEL and see if it comes back on?

 

the diy tb is that third thread i sent you too. umm i would clean the egr and reset the pcm and see if it comes back on. if it does then u know it needs to be replaced
