how long did they take you? you have the non-chrome rims, right?

Right, my rims are the brushed aluminum not the chrome. The whole process of prep and paint took a full morning and then of course I had to wait for them to dry. It isn't a difficult process it is just hand sanding all the wheels takes time.

I painted my stock 17's, they look fine to me but here is a pic of them.

sic77 What paint did you use? And how did you paint over the chrome of the wheels? Did you just sand them done of what as I like that.

i sanded them first and the painted them with dupli color primer, then i used dupli color engine enamel paint. and i also put like 2 light coats of clear coat on them. they have been painted for about a month now and no chipping. and i go down rocky dirt roads everyday.

I wonder if any one has painted the 17's I have black, there are a lot of little crevices on mine tho.
