Well i dont have enough money to go out and buy new rims and tires so i decided to paint my rims black, but ive been told that if you paint chrome it wont look that good.

Will it really look bad if i paint my chrome rims?

 

Twink painted his front bumper flat black and it was chrome. Shoot him a PM and he could probably give you some advice on prepping it. He has some pics in the "Flat black or BUST!" thread.

Painted my rims, here is what they look like.

 

I personally don't like the look. But A LOT of people do. Twink did an awesome job with his bumpers. I'd like to also know what the prep was like.

my truck is chromed out rihgt now but i wana try out the black on black

 

chrome isnt bad if you know where to put it. i like the 20s painted black, not many people have them so youd be different
