3rd gen ram (my 06 2500) is six years old and off warenty, yep A ram can act up like a hyper 6 year old let lose with felt markers and a cranky disposition, some items on the Ram are mega design flaws and some items are just going to wear out, Your not getting arround that with any Ford, Any Gm or any othier truck brand.

I taking a new approach towards Ram ownership, as My truck is Paid for...

When ever a Dodge part craps out like a dodge part is designed to do, I improve my truck by going to aftermarket, and Wow, at 126,000 km, I have pretty much a brand new truck for less than the $40 grand I paid for it new ... And its better than what dodge threw togethier!!!

Never had issues with the hemi or the 6sp man, but as per solid axle front ends on the 2500, I would take the intial posters ILLS over solid axle front end distruction Dodge incorporates into the HD Ram.

Some one will always ask, What, Brand is perfect, or my Ram went to the moon on back on 25 bucks worth of gas, or ya da ya da dee dumb dong ....

Price and loyality is not refective of quality or hype, if You don't need a new truck, dropping over 50 grand (CTD 2500 SLT loaded to the brim) its stupid.

To out lay the cash for any mecanical asortment of assembled parts from money hungry corporations employing workers with sicky work ethics.....its all up to you ...

 

Dodge isnt the only one with breaking parts... Go over to any other forum and you will see the same exact thing.. Stuff breaks..

 

cry and pee you pants, or get a hard on and invest in making your truck better, or reinvest the process and cry with wet pants when the new 2013 ABC truck is 6 years off and off warenty.

I was thinking of Calvin ( from Calvin and Hobbs) peeing on a brands logo that I have on my dodge ... And its not a ford, gm or toyota!! logo..!!!!

I put this on after I lost stearing control when the drag link fell of my truck..... when Repairs were completed, I never took it off, all most as bad as putting lemons in the grill on my F-150 when it went in for repeated warenty repairs....

So to practice what I preach, Calvin has to go ..,.
