That's funny. You probably still have paint around from doing the rims. I had some sitting around from painting over the lovely 80's orange and brown on my camper.

Looks real good man, need a full pic now to see how it all looks together.

Jonny, your truck would look sick like his too cause it would tie in really well with those hood spears you have...

ya I still got lots of paint left over lol did you just unbolt and and just paint it? it seems like it will unbolt easy. I also wanna open up my scoop too while im at it.

That looks great. Those srt hoods always look good and you managed to find a way to make it look just a little better. Well done.

I was able to paint it in place. I managed to get the masking tape down the seem pretty good and then I masked pretty much the front clip to protect from any over spray.

I tried taking a couple of the nuts off under the hood and they're just threaded onto plastic, so I ended up breaking one so I stopped there and decided to paint it right where it was. It looks like it should be easy, 4 nuts and a couple clips that I can see but I stopped before something else broke.

thats awsome. where did you get the insert for the opening?

I'm gonna try to take mine off. hopefully I dont snap anything. or I'll just spend a day taping lol I really wanna paint the inside of my grill black too sometime. so maybe I'll kill 2 birds with one stone.
