So no rust issues? If i do a can of clear on the grill i shouldn't have rust issues right? And also, you guys left some honeycomb for support... How visible are the honeycomb strips behind the inserts? I am looking to redo my grill cause the damn inserts i got are overlays and it looks stupid as hell with the honeycomb behind it, but might do the guttah grill mod if it doesn't show through... LMK

Shouldn't rust its aluminized metal. I didnt use the honeycomb inserts, I just used a bunch of the metal clips that come with the mesh and some good zip ties. I have had no problems at all. Inserts are tight as hell, even when power washing.

 

I love it, goes great with the grill inserts

 

Thanks, Im diggin your truck as well bigmiah. I am working on getting some new mesh material for other style grilles. Hey hontzy, I tried making the circle cut outs for the bumper fogs but could only make it work without the plastic circles in them. kind of overkill on the mesh in my opinion. angles didnt work well for me. Good luck either way.
