Just bought this on Thursday. Needed a new-to-me truck and it caught my eye since I have been a Dodge lover for years.

For pros in here... I know the hood is aftermarket custom, but what about the running boards. I haven't seen them on any other trucks. Are they aftermarket or part of a factory trim package?

Here is a fun pic of my truck with a homemade pool in the bed and a lot of bubbles lol. This was taken from the Woodward dream Cruise in 2009 here in Michigan. It probably wasn't good for the leaf springs but it was damn fun! We even made the news, which was one of my goals!

My first post may as well be this thread.

Bone stock 2005 1500. Been a great truck. Over 80K on it so far, and it really gets used.

Hauling hay for the horses.

I volunteer for Southwest Wildlife (www.southwestwildlife.org) so I frequently am picking up injured wild animals or releasing them, such as this bobcat that wanted my scalp.

Off at a secret location, releasing coyotes.

Sometimes I'm hauling food back to the wildlife facility.

I also occasionally have to haul a motorcyce.

And I also put the wife to work with it once in a while.
(Linked because it is not exactly politically corect)
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/newrepl...te=1&p=1970896

Anyway, it's been a great truck. Now.....Off to find a thread on swapping out front brake pads.
