Default Got HID's in the Truck and They work right!!!!! (warning not pnp)

Hey guys got two sets of HID's for the truck did the 6000k on the low beams and fogs with a halogen high beam.
The kit was designed as a plug and play but I used a 40 A relay to get power directly from the battery to power the ballasts merely using the factory headlight wiring as a means to enable the relay. I was worried at first about flickering due to the relay not drawing as much of a load on the circuit and causing the can bus or w/e it's called to cause flickering.

In my first attempt after reading on forums and such decided to wire in a 2200 micro farad cap from radioshaq in to the relay to try and not only steady voltage but keep an extra load on the circuit. So that didn't work. with truck running about every five minutes the HID's wouldn't flicker but would literally shut off for a few seconds and then reignite for another five minutes. It seemed like the capacitor was causing the relay to close and cut power to the balllasts. So I checked made sure capacitor was in right and decided to hell with it and removed the capacitor. And they work fine. No flicker nothing been about two days now with running them and no issues.

I'll post pics it's raining atm and I still have to tidy up the wiring for the relay. I'm going to extend a few of the wires so that the relay can be tucked a bit more.

Balllasts for the lows are mounted on the frame rail very close to the front on the piece where the frame raises up to get to the shock mounts and what not. Fog ballasts are on the inside of the frame rails. So far i'm loving them the visibility is amazing.

While the install took awhile because i'm a slight **** when it comes to wiring the relay and tucking everything I find the relay to be the best solution to the flickering problem from my readings so that's just my two cents.

I used 2 relays for my wiring harness. One for each side just in case one decides to fail. I ran power directly off the battery.
There will still be Lamp out indicator unless you simulate the load with resistors.

mine doesn't have a lamp out light on the dash. It hasn't come on since the install and prior I tried removing the bulbs from the harness and such and turning lights on with truck on and never got a warning light. I also ran the gauge diag and can not find a light that lights up saying lamp out. so I guess mine doesn't have it
