Dodge Ram 2004 Complete Service Manual 88mb pdf file
I was looking to see if i could also get a link to a 2004 service manual.
I actually don't even have a dodge truck, i have a jeep and am always on the jeep forum, and it has been a great resource in keeping our 2000 cherokee alive.
I joined this forum because my sister has an 04 ram 4.7L. It has been really great truck for them until the water pump went. The dealer wanted to charge $800 to replace it.
They didn't even know there was an issue, they just went in for a scheduled oil change. During the oil change, i guess they found the pump was bad due to a leak(which i can see, looks like the seal went). So essentially they tried to hold them hostage by saying the truck was not safe to drive on the road and the cost of repair was $800. When my sister told them, they could not afford it, they said there was a $100 diagnosis fee. In turn an argument started, as the only went in for the oil change and didnt ask for anything else. They then proceeded to say that the vehicle was unsafe to drive and would have to pay the $100, or have it towed away.
They have financial difficulties and are trying to save every penny they can, especially around the holidays. So I decided that i would take a stab at saving them some money and replace the pump myself. I was so mad to think that a dealership would try so hard to rip someone off, thus i am determined to get this done.
I would like to thank people that support these forums, as they have really help me and my family save money, and make life a little easier.

It's probably posted elsewhere but here is what I found. 10 years later and probably the 5th time I've downloaded it.
