Leveling Kit
Ive got a stock Ram 1500 Hemi 2wd that i want to put a levelin kit on but idk what size to get or whats available. I was also wonderin what size tires will fit on it with stock wheels or with aftermarket.
first off im gonna go ahead and tell you what a whole crap ton of regulars are gonna tell you... USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!! lol but so that im not just flaming i will try to answer your question. it depends on what look you want but you can get anywhere from 1.5" to 3" inches. a 2" will get you pretty close to level. thats what i am planning for my 04 2wd. and as far as tires with just a level im pretty sure that the biggest you are going to be able to fit is 33s. a wiser soul will step in and correct me if i am wrong.
welcome to DF. you will find a lot of knowledgeable people on here. and more than a few smartasses!! lol

The stock tire size is damn near 33" already. Mine measure over 32.5", I have heard of people running 35''s with just a level but there are gonna be rubbing issues at full lock you can almost guarantee that. Since your 2wd your front IFS will be fairly simple from what I'm told to do and shouldn't take more than an hour or two. I will be ordering a 2" procomp kit with extended shocks tomorrow afternoon.
Heres a link to the thread I started yesterday asking most of the same stuff.

This is the one I got with the longer shocks from the same company:

They also have this one that's 3 inches and comes with 4 new shocks:

If you do a spacer, I PERSONALLY would say just from reading the threads on here that you should get around a 2.5" spacer because they normally settle 1/4 to 1/2" after you get the weight of the truck on there putting you right around a 2" level.
I'm running about a 33.5" on mine and it's about right for the articulation and movement. You COULD go up to about the equivalent of a 34 with no rubbing IMO.

Not sure about the 2wd but I just put 315//70/17's(34.5x12.7x17) dura trac's on a 07 1500 megacab and they rub just a bit at hard turn.

Well, you're in the I guess year slot I'll call it. From 06 on, some people have problems with spacers no matter what size you run. Some people also put them on and have no problems at all. Russian roulette I guess.
WOW...Finally see someone else who's running Duratrac's! How ya like them?
