Yeah, the cost to even pick up a free hood would make it not practical..lol

 

lucky lil bastard...you been finding some sick deals my friend very nice grab....paid off waiting that long maybe in a yr ill find a good deal ill just keep on looking like you have....

 

You know what you are going to love about that hood (other than how badass it looks) is how cool it keeps it under the hood. The air coming through my intake is only about 2 degrees warmer than the air outside.

looks like its all set up going down wednesday to pick it up at the body shop. 6hrs of driving is gonna be fun lol

 

Since he has a body shop can't you get him to paint it for you? Then you could install it right away.

not yet but ive given them some business (me twice and my dad has referred a few people) he knows my dad so im gonna go with him and see what they say. im hoping for 150-200 for the hood. i want the cowl painted silver too and then redo the handles bc they are starting to chip. then i can sell my stock hood for 100-150 and come out pretty good...

also while its in the shop the badges will be removed and the new hemi badge put on

 

Yeah, definitly unload that stock hood. You should be able to get 100-150 pretty easily. That will offset some of the cost of paint.
