im back... about to pass out lol the hood is at my body shop and i go to test fit on monday. the hood is sweet but it needs some work done to it...
Some fiberglass hoods need more work than others, but regardless, they ALL need work. My hood for my mustang took darn near 3lbs of bondo. I kid u not. I sold that hood after the body work was complete and bought a Cervini hood. That needed practically no work and fit sooo much better.
Hopefully the lines are reasonable and there's no huge gaping gaps, although I must say the stock hood on my truck is rather poorly fit.
Good news...You got the hood. i hate guys who can't make up their decision and drag other people into their problems....
the lines didnt seem that bad. the bottom where it lines up needs to be straighten out and then where the grills are needs to be smoothed and filed down. other than that just some minor stuff. ill know more monday but i trust this shop so i think they will do a great job.
