just go buy a stick on srt hood scoop and then bondo it to the hood so it all looks like one piece. if you want you can cut the hood underneath it to make it functional

Shaker or go home. You could even make it functional.

Just use the raised portion on the hood now as a guide. The SRT and venom hoods follw the same lines as the stock hood which is slightly
raised as is. It may be easier to find a scale model like a 1/40th scale or 1/16th scale or something like that. That way you can take your
measurements and scale it up, give you a better idea of what you want to do before you cut anything. You could also do some sketches as
well if you are any good at it.

Truckin are you sure that they follow the same lines. Looks to be a little wide if so. The one made today is no where as wide as the groves.

Top of cowl near the windshield is 36 in wide, thats including tapering down to each side of the hood. The heighth of the cowl should be around 1 inch above the wiper cowl. The sides of the cowl from back to front is 38in on each side. width of the scoop at the top of the hood is roughly 21in then tapers down to 15 3/4 inch ,the heighth of the scoop insert is about 3in. These are rough measurements and youll have to look at some pics to get things in perspective. In my opinion youd be way better off getting a hood or buying a stick on. Unless you are a fibreglass god adn can form molds etc. There was a dude on here that attempted to make his own cowl out of sheet metal but in my opinion it looked terrible, to square and no smooth rounded edges. Look at my sig pic and that should give ya some of an idea
