usually when they total it, they give a listing of the stuff that got them to that number. once they reach the value of the truck, they stop adding stuff up. did you get a list of what all they calculated?

 

still a few things on there that you should keep/sell...depending on your plan. I just remember when I wrecked a truck I didn't get everything out of it before it was taken to a junk yard..

-Tank cap
-bed spoiler
-if headlight is good then you onle need to buy one (again depending on what you are going to do)

 

My plans are still to get a cummins now. I talk to the body shop and they said its a one for one swap on parts.

I have a buddy who rolled an 09 Ram end for end like 9 times and survived, although barely. He was in a coma for a while and got beat up pretty good, but he pulled through. Only 1 airbag in the whole truck went off, and it was the passenger side one. WTF is up with the newer ram's airbags?

No Im not buying it back. The insurance company did not tell me how much it was

 

After spending some time underneath the 06, that I have, I noticed the sensors are located at the tips of the main frame, at impact they were twisted sideways, rendering the mercury switch useless. Thats my theory

 

Have you been working on that theory for a year now or what???..lmao

Yeah looks like the pole was dead center in between the impact sensors...
