Been a couple of weeks now, 'Frog.

I don't think I've moved but two threads here from the tech section myself, but with the Nomination Thread already here (I dunno if it was started here or moved here), I figured the voting thread should be also. Plus TOTM sure wouldn't be "technical" IMO.

So the poor showing is probably my fault. Every time I get on (and I haven't been available to be on much lately either) there is always about 20-30 guys in the tech section logged in and about 3-5 here...

Hopefully more people will start checking the General Discussion section as well as the Tech Section. It was created to be a "compromise" section that should fall between tech topics and true OT threads. Trying to appease both the people who complained that their threads were being moved and those who complained that they couldn't find tech answers without sifting through all the non-tech threads. I know you can't please everybody, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction...

 

I think it's a good idea. I just missed it between my pc crash and my lack of checking the top of the forum. Once people figure out it's here, it will take off.

 

people should advertise this section in their sig since not alot of people check the top of the forum...
