Default wanting to make my 06 dodge run quicker and sound better

I have a 06 dodge ram 1500 magnum and i need some ideas on how i can make it faster and make it sound better???

Let me move this to the 3rd gen Ram section, get ya some answers there.

Some more information would be very helpful though. Hemi? 4x4 of 4x2? etc.

its a 4.7 v8 Magnum and its 4x2 and i took off the exhaust by the muffler and it sounds ok but i just really want it to run alot faster and sound alot better

Only way to make it alot faster is tons of $$$$$ or swap out for a Hemi. Adding a muffler or any bolt-on part won't gain much over 5hp. Not sure what tuners do for your year/engine, but that's prob your best bet.
If you have no muffler currently, I'd get one on. Your not faster, your likely slower without one. You may think it's faster, but the roar of the engine is fooling you. The 4.7L's actually sound beefier than the Hemi's with a good muffler.
