My buddy lost the shop, so I don't have access to a punch press, so letters are out (Bear and AWE Daniel got the last of my "HEMI" plates). I think the polished ones would be kinda plain with no lettering, but the couple of sets I made out of diamond plate looked great plain.
I still have the 48" brake in the barn, so bending is not an issue. Aluminum is soft and cuts rather well with a wood blade. I got both a table and a rip saw so cutting them shouldn't be an issue.
I'll be up at the farm (barring any medical setbacks with my mom) from late august right till just before the holidays (can't be missing dove, duck and deer seasons!) so I may do a group buy and make a few sets out of diamond plate if I get enough interest so I can afford a whole sheet (4x8) of diamond plate.
So in another month or so, I'll post up and see if enough guys will commit to a set...

needs something to isolate it from engine heat, it is better than before. Don't like pvc look painted or otherwise. Always looks like pvc. Some of the shops around hear have mandrel bent pipe. Couple minutes with that and you could make a really nice looking unit. But all that matters is it's less restrictive than factory.
