April had 43, May had 39 and June had 39 votes. So with 21 votes this poll has lost about half of the number of votes the poll usually gets. So it seems like either a bunch of members have left or the poll is positioned incorrectly within the forum.

As far as the newbies just using "eenie-meeni-minee-moe" as you put it, doesn't the requirement of 50 posts and 30 days membership ensure that the voters have some familiarity with the forum and its members prior to being able to vote?

im leaning more towards a lot less activity in the veteran members that have been here for a while. many of them have moved to another site as their primary site

 

I think you are probably right AF. Most of the main guys seem to have left.

 

Not really. Just because a member has 50 posts doesn't mean they are very active or should even place a vote for that given month. They could have signed in only once or twice in the past month yet they can still vote. That is why I say eenie-meeni....

As far as regular members not steppin in to vote, shame on them. Thee's no excuse. We all know this place is here because everyone put in their opinion about it.

I hear what your saying Teach, also this poll was only run for 4 day compared to others at 5 days not that another day would have brought on 20 more votes.

I'd rather have a low number of votes tht are accurate than just going for higher number of votes that can be less accurate. Everyne up there has still been very helpful for the month of July. keep it coming fellas.
