I have a new signature picture... that should get me .5 - 1mpg gain at least.

I put on my exhaust. 3"ID GlassPack, dumped = No MPG influence
I put on a CAI filter on my stock setup (no CAI Tube) = Gain .5 MPG per tank
I got 10.5 MPG pulling 6500lbs at 70 MPH with 3.55 gears.
(All Hand Calculated)

How many miles does that thing have?

Plugs - wires - injecter cleaner - STP Gas Treatment (always run 2 bottles per tank when I tow) - Clean Air Filter (Cost me $30)

Then get back to the major mods like, electric fan and Super Chips 3865.

I have about 108K miles on my truck. I did just order a CAI. That should be on the truck by the next tank of gas. I have a list of things that I want to change, but I'm curious to make one change at a time to see how it affects my overall MPGs. This thread is a fun way for me to track my progress.

Major mods are on the list too, but money flow is at a trickle

You will have to give your PCM time to adjust for the added air flow, it's possible the CAI may throw a code at first. Mine did not though. I would have the PCM flashed. That will give your truck better performance with the new mods.

If you havent done the e-fan i would do that. i think dirty dog has one brand new for sale....that has been noted as a huge saver as it removes the clutch fan which hogs alot. i think DD said you would just need to get the controller which is about $30, also have you done the 180 temp mod.

I have to get an efan, I keep putting that off

and i wouldnt get your PCM flashed, it will adjust on its own or you can just reset it yourself
