Many have done the Taurus "pick 'n pull" fan as well, with good results... I believe there is a DIY in the FAQ section for this one...
Can u show a under-the hood pic? Id like to see what she looks like installed.

I can take a pic, but there really isn't much you can see. I mounted the fan in the stock shroud, so about the only thing you can see is the clutch fan nut with nothing coming out of it...

Seriously, The only way to get any better fuel economy, is to drive a different Dodge. My Neon gets somewhere in the 29-32 mpg range. Every Dodge truck I have had gets between 6 and 14 mpg. The 84 1 ton dump being the worst, and my 00 Dakota being the best at 14. Sorry for the bad news, and they are all 2wd.

You don't state where you live, but here in the northeast it has been cold. Combined with the winter blend fuel, my short trip around town nets me about 10 mpg, 2 less than the warmer months. 15-16 mpg (70-75 mph) on the highway is what I get during the winter, only slightly better in the summer. You did not say what fluids you re using, but going to synthetic gained me about 0.5mpg and running 42 psi front, 38 rear also helped.

Now that gas prices are creeping back up we're start getting a lot of these threads. I noticed an increase from replacing my worn out plugs, wires, cleaning out the Throttle body. Truck runs much better too. If I worried too much about gas mileage though I would just drive something else.

Yep, about two years ago when gas hit $4.00 a gallon in most places I'd say about six of every ten threads started were about gas mileage. Got old pretty quick. I kept having to monitor threads for fights breaking out cause guys got tired of seeing MPG threads.
I hope that sh*t don't start up again this time...

The only way to get better gas mileage is to NOT drive a full size truck... Period.
