Angry I hate a damn thief!!!!

Well some douche broke into my truck Monday morning in my work parking lot. I get to work around 5:30 am. Went back to my truck at 6:30 am to go and have a smoke.......when there it was, punctured the passenger window, pryed it out, then ripped it out of the frame. Rifled through the center console, flipped up the back seat and discovered my sub box, but didn't take them. Found the cubby under the the front seat and took my GPS and SuperChips tuner. Oh and he stole my smokes.......
So insurance replaced the window and I took it and had the window tinted again. They won't replace the tuner or the gps because they were not bolted down. Cops said the guy has hit 15 or so cars in the last two weeks in that area. They are looking for the GPS and tuner in the local pawn shops. I called SuperChips and reported it stolen so no one will be able to have it unlocked. Just sucks that I will have to buy another $350 tuner and go to the stealership and have the computer flashed back to stock so that I can use it.
Bought a Viper 5901 alarm and I am having it installed next Thursday, can't wait. Maybe next time, I can stop the SOB before he can get anything.

I think that guys should be shot in both knees, stabbed in both arms and then dragged by your truck until you fell satisfied.

why do you need a new tuner? if yours is already programmed, the tuner is useless as is unless yours was unlocked at the time

when I get my car back I am having a viper system installed. I would love to catch them in the act, tackle them to the ground, and jab their head/face into the pavement until they bleed like no other. I understand that people sometimes are going through difficult times and may need money, but stealing is never the answer. If the person needs money, work more jobs. Or go get help. I've been through difficult times as has everyone else but never have I wanted to steal others valuables. What a jerk. Hope he gets caught and lives his worthless life behind bars.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe it's time to set a trap. Have somebody set something nice on the front seat, or poorly hidden so that it's sticking out from under the seat. When the thug breaks the window, nab him.

good choice on the viper alarm...ive got a viper alarm on my truck, definatley a good investment...ive got all the senors on it, motion sensor, shock sensor, and proximity chirp, and a pager remote with remote start...i left my truck in a parking lot on a saturday night in a real shady part of town, there were 4 or 5 or my friends cars in the parking lot next time mine....they broke into every car except mine.....what I'm getting at is it definitely helps to deture them from breaking in

watch your house, in Orlando they are having a problem with guys breaking into cars and stealing the GPS and seeing where "HOME" is. They know your vehicle, so they know when you ain't there and they are robbing the house.

I have my home in my GPS, but it ain't called "HOME"...
