you gotta pay to play. If you had 17's or 18's it would be a lot cheaper.

 

Yeah man AT tires with anything over a 17-18 get ridiculous....but if you could stand 34's i think this is your best deal...

Never heard of them, but they look like they'd be a decent mud tire with large blocks and big voids. Unfortunately not a very good tire for your intended use IMO.

The large blocks will wear quickly on pavement and I really question how they'd handle on wet roads with next to no siping. The problem I've found with the no-name, bargain-price mud tires is not the performance but how long they last. I got a real good buddy who bought a set of Maxxis Buckshot Mudders a couple years ago because the price was great. I recommended Mickey Thompson MTZs, but at almost twice the price per tire.

He bought the Buckshots. They were great in the mud (when they had tread) but wore down to slicks before he got 20k miles on them and they were down right squirrely in the rain. He is now riding on MTZs, just as good in the mud, it's heavily siped for wet pavement/snow/ice and with 35k on them he's still got more than 50% tread left.

My advice: get the best tire you can afford, it will end up saving you money in the long run. There were some told me I was nuts putting a $300 per tire Cepek FCII on my truck when there were suitable options at $100 less per tire (35x12.5x17s). $300 per tire is about top of the scale for a 17" tire but with over 30k on them and not even 10% wear and the great combination of highway and off-road performance (they are a true A/T-M/T hybrid) I don't regret spending the extra money at all. It'll be many a year before I have to consider replacing them...

 

yea I drive a **** ton on road, so I dont need one that wears out bad...I looked at reviews and there were some people who said they got a pretty good amount of miles and others that said *******ly none

I set aside 1k for tires and its looking like I need to save up another 200 or 300 for them...If I could afford the Mickey Ts I would probably buy a set but they are super high

The fact that you want 20" tires is killing you. If you want a long lasting tire with good street manners and excellent wet traction with the ability to venture onto some trails (provided you don't try to go through deep mud) I'd look at the Terra Grapps or the Toyo A/Ts. Very proven tread pattern. The Nittos on my Jeep were only $121.50 per tire (although not 35" and not 20")...
