Quick PIC of the truck hah
na do a suspension.....i know its more but it looks so much better.
mine is 2wd too. im thinking of a 3" spindle with 1.5" daystar spacers and some kind of lift block in the back to even it out. and something around a 34-35" tire. the spindle i think is a better idea for us 2wd guys but if u wanna go even higher then the bodylift much be done it think
Yea, I would rather go with a suspension lift but this is my thought - with a level kit and body lift - I would achieve 5.5 to 6 inches of lift in the front and with a 1" block in back and the 3" body lift, Id assentially have the 6 inch lift for half the price - I have seen some trucks with that exact setup and 35's and it looked AMAZING! so, thats what im shootin for.
Actually, a good suspension lift will put no extra strain on the suspension components. It actually puts the suspension in more of a factory position than does a level. The level just pushes things up how ever tall the kit is and tends to sometimes put more of a strain on the ball joints and even the sway bar and links. A suspension lift gives you a spindle where the it is just taller and leaves the upper and lower ball joints pretty much in the factory position as well as the tie rod ends and they normally come with a kit to lower the sway bar so it rides in it's proper position.
What puts stress on the system is the larger/heavier tires run on an ifs truck.
Beautiful truck btw.
