should i go with an 3" center in - offset out or a 3" offset in - offset out?

Not bad. What length is the body on that Extreme?

 

If you post a vid, please tell us the body length of the CherryBomb. They sell all kinds of lengths, and it makes a difference in the sound.

Mine came in today...

 

The Extreme is a VERY short bodied muffler, I'm guessing mine is about a foot as when I cut out my old flowmaster 50HD at 19" I had to buy a 12" extension at the auto parts store (an easy part to use as it's flanged on one side to slide over the existing exhaust pipe and slides inside the muffler on the other, making welding a breeze). Had to cut the extension to about 7" so I'd say 19" - 7" of extension makes the CB Extreme muffler about a foot long...

 

Wont matter as either can be made to fit

Seriously? A 30 inch (2.5ft) long muffler? You guys must be planning a super quiet and sleeper truck.

Ive got 14" long 4" round Magnaflow mufflers.

 

Its a 6 inch body, 1ft overall length

 

I love my CB extreme, thinking about gettin it dumped, would that change the pitch or sound of the exhaust?
